Sudarshan Saur’s Solar Water Heaters – the only company whose products have been accredited with Star rating by the Government of India. 

Sudarshan Saur, a leading name in the field of Solar water heaters, has now been accredited with ‘3-Star Rating’ by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), which is the agency of Government of India, operating under the Ministry of Power.  Sudarshan Saur has emerged to be the first and only company to get such an outstanding accreditation in India. 

Solar water heaters, which are produced in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), are tested for quality and performance in the laboratories, approved and recognized by the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration (NABL).   The products successfully passing such testing are accredited with the Star Rating.  As of today, these products are tested at the Regional Test Centre (RTC), School of Energy Studies, Savitribai Phule Pune Vidyapeeth, Pune, which is the only test-lab, approved and recognised by BIS & NABL. 

This star-rated product was inaugurated and launched on Friday, 4th March 2022 at the auspicious hands of his holiness Swami Vishnupadanand Maharaj (Secretary, Shree Ramkrishna Mission, Aurangabad). The others who graced the function included Dr. Angha Pathak (Co-ordinator, School of Energy Studies, Savitribai Phule University, Pune) and Mr. Kale (Project Executive officer – MEDA, Aurangabad)
